Christina P. Tapia, Ph.D.

Dr. Tapia specializes in the estimation of economic damages in litigation including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and employment cases. In addition to teaching economics, Dr. Tapia has worked as an economic analyst and consultant since 2001 providing economic analyses for trial and mediation, as well as for strategic and consulting purposes. She has provided deposition and trial testimony in both federal and state cases.

BizKids interview of Christina Tapia on Economics While teaching an undergraduate macroeconomics course at Seattle University, Dr. Tapia was interviewed for an episode of BizKids, a great PBS kids program about business and economics. This was a fun opportunity for her to talk about economics and hopefully get some young people interested in becoming more informed.
